“Resist the comfort of deception; the Mist is easy to love, but only the Stone beneath it is real.”
(Elara: The Seeker and Servant of Realitas)
Elara is not merely an intellectual seeker; she is a Restorer because she does not stop at knowledge. She actively resists deception, reconstructs what has been lost, and refuses to operate within corrupted paradigms. Unlike the esteemed academic intellectuals who pursue knowledge for its own sake or for institutional validation, Elara is a liberator, because she seeks truth to restore Realitas to a civilization lost in mist.
Why Elara?
Grounded and enduring; Elara represents steadfastness in the pursuit of truth, unshaken by illusion.
Clear and uncompromised; Elara does not seek knowledge for power but for alignment with Realitas and Natural Law.
A Light in the Mist; Eidolon is the city lost in deception but Elara is the one who will not be swallowed by its fog.
Thus; the young woman who sees through the Veil is called Elara.
She is not an ‘intellectual seeker’ or a ‘thought leader’; Elara is a Restorer, in defence against the “Platonic Nightmare”.
Truth Must Be Defended, Not Just Debated
The People of the Stone must actively resist deception, rather than merely proving it false. Institutions that reject illusion entirely are necessary and urgently needed. Guarding language, law, and education from corruption is essential; truth must be shielded from the encroaching Mist.
Moral Formation Must Precede Rational Inquiry
People cannot be reasoned out of deception if their love for gratification or security makes them cling to it. Philosophy must be grounded in moral discipline, developing prudence and discernment. Without moral integrity, no amount of rational argument will pierce the veils or clear the mists.
Love of Truth Must Be Reignited
Intellectual formation is not enough; people must learn to desire reality again. This means restoring a culture where beauty, virtue, and wisdom are honoured, rather than pleasure, status, and manipulation. A civilization without a hunger for truth will always choose “The Platonic Nightmare”.
Can the People Be Brought Back to Reality?
The Grim Reality - most people will never leave “The Platonic Nightmare”. They will defend it because it serves their desires. The Mist provides pleasure, validation, and ease - truth does not. Few will ever want to see the Stone beneath their feet. Many will die in “The Platonic Nightmare”, loving their chains.
The Hopeful Truth - not everyone is lost. Some are searching, even if they don’t yet realize it. Some are dissatisfied with illusion but do not know where to turn. Some sense the corruption but lack the language to name it. Some will recognize truth when they see it - but only if it is made visible to them.
The People of the Stone must hold their ground; even if they are a small minority. Because even if the world rejects truth, the truth does not cease to be.
