A Tale Of Twin Cities (Part 1)

The War for Aeterna

Operation: Eclipsum

The systematic dismantling of The Ladder of Understanding (the framework by which individuals ascend from perception to wisdom) requires a name that captures the deliberate, gradual, and nearly imperceptible erasure of truth. I’ve chosen the name which reflects both the methodology and the consequence of the operation: the extinguishing of light, the obscuring of reality, and the creation of an artificial, managed perception.

Eclipsum is derived from eclipsis (Latin: “to obscure, to darken, to block from sight”). An eclipse does not destroy the sun; it only hides it from view. This is the nature of the subversion: truth still exists, but it is rendered inaccessible.

It conveys the systematic obscuring of Realitas; not through direct destruction, but by placing layers of deception, fragmentation, and conditioning between the individual and reality.

It aligns with the process of subversion itself; a slow, incremental loss of illumination that appears natural to those within it.

It reflects the ultimate goal of Valerian; not to obliterate truth, but to ensure it remains out of reach.

Operation: Eclipsum describes the interconnected system of subversion deployed to destroy The Ladder of Understanding;

Illusio, Perceptum, Fragmentum, Behaviouralis and what they serve: Valerian,

leaving individuals and entire civilizations trapped in a managed darkness, unable to perceive the reality that still exists.
